Job Description:
The purpose of the Peer Financial Coaching Internship is to help fill the pipeline for financial consultants and raise awareness of this career path by offering college students the opportunity to explore their talents/skills by working with other students in areas of budgeting and debt management. Coaches and participants learn lifelong skills in financial wellness that will help make positive financial decisions as well as reducing financial stress.
Peer Financial Coaches will offer peer financial coaching in the areas of budgeting, debt management and assist Everence staff with local events during the academic school year. Coaches will also act as a campus ambassador promoting the service on campus such as circulating posters/flyers, sharing on social media groups and connecting with college officials, student unions etc. Coaches will also serve on the Advisory Group for the Everence Customer Life Cycle Strategic Initiative and coordinate a financial wellness workshop in the Spring. Coaches will attend Peer Financial Coaching training and meetings.

Rate of pay and hours per week: On campus internships for two semesters (about 30 weeks), approximately 40 hours per month. Pay based on experience.
