ROPES: he Ropes Staff at LCCC is responsible for leading campers of all ages in our outdoor experiential program. These staff members spend each day facilitating groups in various activities including team building/initiatives, climbing, high ropes, mountain boarding, mountain biking, and white water rafting. While prior experience in leading these activities is not required, applicants should be comfortable with learning new technical and safety skills, working at heights, explaining games to large groups, and helping campers make connections to the Gospel through their experiences. The Ropes Staff position is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness; you don’t need to be a cross-fit super star, but know that it is far from being a sedentary job.
LAKE: Lake Staff at LCCC are the people who maintain and run our program at our lakefront property. Lake Staff will be spending their days driving our jet skis for tubing campers, lifeguarding at the beach, and supervising the dock area. Other jobs include leading campers in laser tag, playing games, and helping with property maintenance.

Job Description: 

BRIEF: Counselors are the core to all of our summer programs. They spend the summer living in our cabins and lodges with 8-10 campers and are responsible for their physical, emotional and spiritual well being during their time at camp. That means leading bible studies, taking their cabin on adventures, eating s’mores, making friendship bracelets, playing gaga-ball, singing silly songs and leaning into the questions and challenges that kids bring to camp. Kids come to camp from all different backgrounds and with diverse life experiences, and our counselors are on the front lines of communicating the Gospel Truth of God’s love for them through their words and their care for the campers.
