Job Description:
Marcom Content by Ashley, LLC (MCA) seeks an energetic, self-motivated digital marketing communications intern. If you want to build a career in social media and digital content development, we want to work with you. While you will be learning basic optimization, it is required to have excellent writing skills since you’ll be developing content.
In addition to being an excellent writer, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will also be a self-starter and excellent communicator, asking questions whenever there is a need for further clarification.
Responsibilities:
• Write and edit social media posts on a monthly social media calendar.
• Once comfortable, schedule social media posts either on Facebook or on Hootsuite.
• Present new social media campaign ideas.
• Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas and feedback.
• Create social media reports unique to each client.
• Write blog posts and descriptions for web pages to help with Google search.
• Edit spreadsheets and make changes in various website platforms, such as WordPress and HubSpot.
MCA provides new and traditional marketing and communications services to clients all over the globe. You’ll primarily work with the owner, Ashley Jones, who enjoys working with those students who have a real passion for the marketing world.
