Job Description:
Entry-Level (No experience or academy required) and Lateral-Entry Police Officer (current sworn officer). Responsibilities include maintaining law and order, protecting the life and property of others and ensuring public safety. Key duties include patrolling the City of Tallmadge, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, investigating crimes, and apprehending suspects. Rate of pay and hours per week: All listed rates are per-hour. 12-hour shifts (every-other weekend off) with an 80-hour pay period. $32.95 (starting), $34.19 (after 6 months), $36.37 (after 1 year), $37.10 (after 2 years), $39.94 (after 3 years), $40.37 (after 3.5 years)
