Coaches will also act as a campus ambassador promoting the service on campus such as circulating posters/flyers, sharing on social media groups and connecting with college officials, student unions etc. Coaches will also serve on the Advisory Group for the Everence Customer Life Cycle Strategic Initiative and coordinate a financial wellness workshop in the Spring. Coaches will attend Peer Financial Coaching training and meetings.

The Role:



The worship Pastor/Director is a member of the professional staff of the church. The role is responsible to plan, organize, lead and oversee ministries in the areas of worship and music. The worship responsibilities are part-time, up to 20 hours per week. Goshen will also consider full-time candidates with additional ministry responsibilities dependent upon the interests and gifting of the candidate and the needs of the church. Accountability to the church is through the Elders and is implemented under the direction of the Senior Pastor. 



Responsibilities include:



Plan, coordinate and implement the worship and music elements of regular and other occasional worship services.



While serving as the primary leader in Goshen worship services, a key objective is also to develop and equip lay leaders, and to build up and expand worship and music teams and tech teams.



Additional responsibilities will be considered if a candidate is interested in full-time employment.



Spiritual Prerequisites:



The candidate should actively renew his soul by spending time in Scripture, personal worship and prayer, and relational accountability.



The candidate must have deeply rooted doctrinal beliefs and ministry values that are consistent with those of the church as stated in the Church’s Statement of Faith and Philosophy of Worship and Music.
