Job Title: Remote Internship

Requirements for Employment: 

1) Pursuit of a degree in business, human resources, communication, marketing, or public relations.

Students pursuing any major or who are undecided are also welcome to apply if their skills and interest align

with the internship.

2) Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

3) Be comfortable and confident when interacting with others, good interpersonal skills.

4) Possess strong technology skills with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

5) Proficiency in gathering, organizing, assessing, and reporting data.

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time intern to work fully online to assist and support the Manager of Business Partnerships and the OFIC Strategic Plan, with emphasis on Talent for Ohio. The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively and independently online and manage their time effectively to complete the work responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities

1) Assist with in person and online OFIC career events: planning, promotion, registration, communication,

materials, attendance (if able), gather post event feedback and review.

2) Investigate internship and career connection opportunities with OFIC business partners, as well as identify

corporate leads for future career connection opportunities.

3) Collaborate with Manager of Business Partnerships and marketing team to assist with development of OFIC

Insider (monthly newsletter) and social media content to foster increased awareness of OFIC and encourage

enhanced engagement from member campus staff, faculty, and students, as well as business and industry

leaders.

4) Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on utilization of online career readiness and

internship resources offered to OFIC member campuses and corporations.

Rate of pay and hours per week: 10-15 hours per week (flexible) $20 per hour

Approximate start date:  Early summer

Approximate end date: can be extended into fall, and spring semester.
