Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor at Balance Counseling and Recovery, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and addiction issues. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement effective treatment plans, provide therapeutic support, and facilitate their journey toward recovery and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health and substance use issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in immediate need.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Educate clients and their families about mental health and addiction issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field.

Educational Background:

Interns working towards licensure under supervision.
