Job Title: Summer Counselor
Requirements for Employment:
Minimum of 18 years of age or one year of college completed at time of employment, a committed Christian involved in ongoing personal spiritual growth, and desire to see the summer as a ministry of outreach and nurture of children.
Job Description:
BRIEF: Counselors are the core to all of our summer programs. They spend the summer living in our cabins and lodges with 8-10 campers and are responsible for their physical, emotional and spiritual well being during their time at camp. That means leading bible studies, taking their cabin on adventures, eating s’mores, making friendship bracelets, playing gaga-ball, singing silly songs and leaning into the questions and challenges that kids bring to camp. Kids come to camp from all different backgrounds and with diverse life experiences, and our counselors are on the front lines of communicating the Gospel Truth of God’s love for them through their words and their care for the campers.
