Each Internship will require practical support and have basic knowledge of Intern requisition. Complete special projects assigned. Perform data entry. Use good communication skills, both written and verbally. They all have specific requirements that pertains to the job description. UNPAID PRACTICUM requirements: Please upload your resume, letter of interest, and school requirements to be considered. HR will then be able to determine if there are available opportunities within TCM based on the school requirements.
Job Description:
SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM ASSISTANT: Through a strong Christian worldview, supports & implements relevant programming for children Kindergarten through twelfth grade, including gospel-centered lessons, Bible-based character development, social emotional learning, and academic improvement. LEADERSHIP INTERN: The intern will be engaged in a well-rounded experience of the many facets of a non-profit organization. He/she will assist with the development and implementation of programming and organizational operations by maintaining program systems for both women and children. CASEWORKER & YOUTH CASEWORKER INTERNS: Assists in case management tasks, such as intakes, referrals, and meeting with residents. EARLY CHILDHOOD DEV INTERN: Assists in providing high-quality early childhood education and care through a strong Christian worldview, while maintaining a safe, supportive, stimulating, and educational environment to children ages 0-2. CHAPLAIN INTERN: Assists with delivering pastoral care and promoting spiritual wellbeing to TCM’s program residents. UNPAID PRACTICUM: The City Mission offers a variety of unpaid practicums in the fall and spring semesters. The requirements of your school will determine the practicum experience and who will be able to supervisor the practicum. Anyone pursuing an unpaid practicum with The City Mission must be doing so for school credit.

Rate of pay and hours per week: Internships $10.45/hr (25hrs/wk) or Full-Time Summer Youth Program Assistant $15/hr
